Happy 6th Birthdays!

It is hard to believe, but these girls are 6! I know I say it every year, but I really don't know where all the time has gone. It has flown by. They are in Kindergarten now, and soon to be 1st grade. They are very independent and strong willed people. While we definitely have our struggles now, I hope that being strong willed will serve them well in the future.

McKenna is our extremely athletic one. I have had PE teachers comment on her ability and how fast she is and how accurate she is in throwing a ball. She really does have quite the arm. She is such a great sister - especially to Braden who adores her. She is smart and doing well in school. I also love how she is her own person. She doesn't care too much what others think of her and she really tries to choose the right.

Kylie is our artistic one. She loves music...to sing and to play it. She likes having friends and has loved Kindergarten socially, and academically. She is also smart and doing well in school. She is a very nurturing person and will someday make a fantastic mom. She will be my one who loves to make craft projects, and I can see where not too long in the future, she will be helping me out a lot!

I feel so blessed to have two beautiful daughters!

Their birthday this year was hard. It fell right during Allen's Get Connected week. However, they had a great day at school and took treats for everyone. Later that night, my parents came over and we had a little party. I made them each their own cake this year and at least they didn't mind my mess!

All in all a great day!

These are the bags they put their treats in. You might notice the little hand in the bottom right hand corner. Braden really wanted the bag!

As long as it isn't a princess cake, McKenna is very happy!

Surprisingly, Kylie wanted another princess cake. I wish I could redo this one. Oh well!

Right before we blew out the candles. It was definitely a party.
