Cousin Weekend

From August 11th until August 14th, we were blessed to have a lot of days with some of our cousins! First, my brother came to visit. I wish I had taken a lot more pictures, but we were just having so much fun! On Friday the 12th, we decided to go to The Craze Fun Zone. Played miniature golf, and a lot of laser tag. The two little ones were happy to pretend to drive in the arcade.

After the Craze Fun Zone, they all came over to help us move dirt for awhile. Which was extremely kind of them. Thanks to all the help, half the dirt pile was actually moved!
Of course after moving dirt, they had worked up a big appetite and there is no other place to go except to Big Jud's! Tyler was extremely excited because he has always wanted to show his cousins this place.

Later that night, we went back to my parents house for awhile and played games. It was a fun day and the little ones were EXHAUSTED but they slept really well!

On Saturday, we took the older three and drove to Twin Falls where one of Allen's nieces was getting married that day. We left the kids in the waiting room at the temple, and they did really well. Briana was beautiful and the spirit was really strong. Great opportunity for my children to witness and be apart of.

Before the dinner we had some time to kill so we drove to Shoshone Falls. It has a bigger drop than Niagra Falls and it is pretty spectacular especially towards the beginning of Spring with all of the run off. Anyway, it was hot, but at least we got a picture of the kids!

On to the dinner. We were pretty hungry by this point so we enjoyed the food. The dinner was at a hotel where the reception was also being held. The kids loved it and the girls snatched the camera and started taking pictures of everything. I really liked her cake, so I'm glad they got a picture of that. The girls also wanted their picture with their cousin, so as embarassed as they were, glad we got one!

Poor little Braden though. He was pretty traumatized. He loves going to Grandma's house, but as we were all getting dressed in church clothes, he was upset we weren't taking him to church too. He was kind of mopey and by the time we got back and picked him up, he didn't leave my side for the next few days.

Anyway, we are glad we live by Grandma so we benefit when cousins come to visit. Thanks for the great weekend guys!
